Playing with barcodes

Remember your design teacher explaining you that you should pay attention to the details? It did sound annoying at the time, but they were perfectly right. Details are important and show great professionalism.
The creative barcodes presented in this Weird Asia News article all have a thing in common: they take a small boring element of the packaging and make a fun use of it, turn it into a promotional item in itself.
